Wilson's Wills is headed by Jeremy Wilson. Jeremy has worked professionally in this area of law for over thirty years. Until 2024 he was a solicitor, partner and head of the Private Client department of a regional firm of solicitors in Orpington. He has now moved to Bournemouth with his wife Chrissie and three naughty dogs.
He has now set up Wilson’s Wills so that he can provide the same high level of service to members of the public in Bournemouth.
Jeremy has given seminars over the years either internally within his previous organisation and also to charities like Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Mencap. For many years he also gave pre-retirement seminars to various large organisations.
His passion is ensuring that he has done all he can to protect and preserve his clients hard earned capital, whether it means assets are ring fenced against the cost of care, minimising the amount of Inheritance Tax paid on death or any other issue that could impact on the family’s assets.
In his view the very wealthy over the centuries have used trusts to protect the family assets. There is no reason why everyone cannot use the same mechanisms. If done correctly trusts can be run at a nominal cost. Jeremy feels that they should be used for the benefit of the family and not professionals be they accountants or lawyers.
Jeremy is a member of the Will Writers Association and adheres to their code of conduct and carries Professional indemnity Insurance to a limit of £2.5 m. He is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.
